Default remington clothes

I need clothes for my girlfriend for her first deer season. I don't want to invest in a set o f brwoning for clumbia coat and bibs yet since i don't know if this will be a one time thing. does anybody have any experience with the remington line of hunting clothes? I've seen the parkas at wal-mart for $70. (i'm not a fan of wal-mart). the clothes are made by the Brinkman Coproration. the parka claims in the tag to be windproof and waterproof. it's insulated with 70% down and 30% feathers. i think that the down is a good warm insulator. i have down liners from browning and columbia and they are super warm.
any opinions?
