We all talked today and made the decision to let hunting that a back seat and patrolling take main priority. These deer dont run from our tractors, quads or trucks, sometimes not even from us- so we are going to risk ruining our hunting and go after these guys day in and day out.
We are making the mature decision and contacting DNR/F&W Law Enforcement as well as local Police(again), tomorrow. Hopefully they will help us out.
A few years back a good friend and his Dad purchased 150 acres that had been open to all comers for years. This is exactly the approach they took, and while it took several years to completely rid the property of trespassers, they all finally got the point that my Buddy and his Dad were not going to tolerate trespassing. Keep plugging on this approach. Run them off and call the law every single time you catch them and they will eventually get the point.
