I' m a back-asswards hunter - started with a bow, and finally just got my first gun. (Rem 700 BDL SS 30-06 which I LOVE)
I' m hunting mostly mulies, bear & elk. All of my shots to date have been under 60 yards, but I' d like to be able to shoot out to 300... For the range and deer, I just shoot Win. Super X 180 Power Points, but was thinking 180 Nosler Partitions for elk & bear.
What do you think would be the optimum load for them???
