This question has come up in the last few weeks. We have a 1 yr old English Springer Spaniel that we got about 6 weeks ago. I have heard pros and cons about neutering and would appreciate any input here. Simply put: What does the dog gain or lose and we (my wife and I) gain or lose as handlers? We do not expect to breed him or show him. We want a good hunting (family) dog.
