I find the it funny that people say mechanical broad heads are band aids for poorly tuned bows.
They are...but these people shouldn't be shooting mechanicals.

I have not had a deer go out of my sight after having a thunderhead go thru the lungs of any I've shot.
I shoot them in the lungs for that reason.
An R.P.G. would most likely leave a better blood trail but since I watch them fall ,I'm not seeing the necessity, I'll be sticking to thunderheads.[:-]
It has nothing to do with ethics, its shooting ability I'm talking about. A two inch hole is no better than a 1 5/8 inch hole ifboth are in the earth under the deer.
