I can see how the booby trap in controversial but I don't see why is shouldn't be pissed that people are coming onto private land, THAT IS POSTED, and stealing property. I just don't get it, ya he took it to far when he made the comment about the deer stand strap but I don't see why everyone is trying to make the theft and trespassing issues his fault. I would be furious if I went out to get ready to hunt and found my gear stolen, or someone sitting in my stand. My family has worked hard to get permission to hunt on the section of land that we use and for some one to just assume that the "Posted" signs are put up for everyone but them is just stupid.

It seems like a lot of people just have no respect for private property, they figure if they don't get caught than there is nothing wrong with it. When I hear comments like Stormy's about the "Jersey sneak" and other crap like that it makes me look at them the same way I look at poachers.

I guess it comes down to this... Breaking the law is breaking the law, whether it be trespassing, booby trapping, or poaching.
Right you are. Taking the law into your own hands to catch or punish someone is no different.
