3 deer is the ideal amount for my father and I. My parents have a large freezer at their house so storage is never too big a deal. Basically goes like this

1 deer: Ground
1 deer: Steaks
1 deer: Salami and sticks

Not all from the same deer, but the mixture of the ideal parts for each
