Thanks guys for the compliments on the pics... It makes it worthwhile to pack along the camera, which takes up additional space in the fanny pack. I actually didn't allot much time for picture-taking, as I was so intent on searching for elk... most of these were taken in some off-time within a couple-day span.
There's four or so up above that were taken closer to the middle of the afternoon on the last evening hunt; the last one was fun as that rock I'm sitting on at full draw basically puts my feet dangling above a 200-foot drop. That one was fun trying toposition the camera to capture the correct field of view, set the timer, and scramble into position without falling over the edge.

It didn't really capture the effect of the canyon behind me like I wanted, but then again, pictures never do.
We'll definitely have to meet up there some day and share a hunt.
