Cody, with all the great national forest and BLM' s availiable thoughout Montana and with just a little bit of homework, it won' t take long and you' ll be slinging some arrows at some critters, but don' t expect anyone to let you know where there honey holes are.[:' (] One good thing about the bow season is you get a jump on most of the weekend warriors and you have the option to shoot a cow or bull, also dureing the archery season, this is when the bulls are in the peak of the rut and very vocal, this is my favorite time to hunt. I' ll usually spend my season elk hunting and then hunt the white-tail rut in late November.
You hve until june 2 to apply for B-tag which you can use to shoot some camp meat. Good luck and keep us posted, Bobby
