RE: Soft Yolk On Cables
One of the guys I know that shoots for Hoyt was showing me his Havoctec and I noticed his soft yoke and asked him about it. He explained to me that he laser tunes all his bows and setups and that by using the soft yoke it his will always find center.
I was wondering if their were any draw backs to using the soft yoke?
I noticed on my Parker Ultra Lite 31 that with such a short axle to axle and a short draw length that the cable causes a bit of twist or should I say the end of the limb at the top wheel looks angled ( I looks like it pulls enevenly do to the angle the cable travels to reach the cable guard ) so I had to wonder does my cable find true center due to the angle I see in the top limb end? Or is this wrong thinking on my part? If I am correct in my thinking would a soft yoke help to correct this, and give my cable true center when at full draw?
