There's been many a mature buck killed in "doe" areas outside of the rut and a night watching the outdoor channel will prove that. In a perfect world the mature bucks may not use the same areas as does outside of the rut, but the fact is most properties aren't perfect and the terrain often dictates where deer will travel and how you must hunt them.

Does receive a lot of pressure here in MS, so if I find an area where does feel comfortable moving about, you can bet that atleast one mature buck is using the same area and its worth a few hunts at the very least.
