Through the years I have used both feathers and vanes. At this time I am shooting with vanes because I love to hunt no matter what the weather. I will sit on a deer stand in the pouring rain and for this reason I use vanes.

Duravanes and Bohning vanes are good durable vanes that perform well.

The rest I use is a Whisker Biscuit. Now I' m not trying to get the arrow rest controversy started, I' m just telling you what works for me. The Whisker Biscuit and vane combo is a good accurate hunting set-up.
