For the Triumph which has a light coat of synthic oil to start with I just wipe it with a rag ,wipe the end exposed to the powder with Hoppes #9 and use a AA powered battery screw driver with an 1/8 inch drill to clean the carbon check the flash hole to be sure its clear if not I have a hat pin that just fits it with a squared off end. A light coat of synthtic oil on the threads and rings and back in. Lee
