Loads I use for my CVA Hunterbolt Mags are the 295 Powerbelts with 90 gr of CleanShot behind it. Works well for me. I tried to go up in powder weight and all I accomplished was a radically loose group and a sore shoulder. Start low and work your way up. I tried the XTP sabots and did not like them at all, they shot fine but left the barrel looking like it had fur on the inside that made reloading a PITA. I can shoot 10 rounds of 90gr w/295 PB bullet with no problem on the reload. When shooting for accuracy or final sight in I run a spit patch and 2 dry patches for every shot. I figure the gun will be clean with the 1st shot at the deer so finalize it that way.
