RE: you only have one scouting trip what do you look for
That's where I live my friend..I've done this 3 times straight in 3 totally different spots and scored all three times.
a. I don't start scouting till I've walked 800 steps..then..
b. Look for oak trees, a small stream or marshy water in thickvegetation { wherea deer can stay hidden ,get waterand sun all day} once there look for deer trails with alot of tracks..droplings and some old or fresh rubs.}
c.It's been my experience the deer in highly pressured WMA stay put unless there is heavy pressure..I've hunted my same spots every year..the deer are still there.
