I tried the tape today. I can report that it did significantly cut down on the blowback. I only took a few shots because I was worried about the breech plug sticking. My tape did not remain on the plug when I removed it like yours did sabotloader, maybe I did not round off the sharp edges on the threads enough because they seemed to cut the tape up.
One thing did occur to me though, and I would like to hear your opinion. If the key to the tape preventing blowbackis the seal where the breach plug meets the barrel, what would happen if a person used a sort of a gasket in this area? I am thinking of something like a o-ring shaped gasket cut out of that cardboard gasket material you get at an auto parts store or some other material I haven't thought of yet.
