The reason for them not telling anyone if they did or didnt, is that if they did and someone's kid got ate by a cougar with a radio collar the DNR would catch more hell then they would know what to do with. Do I think theyre releasing them? IDK, but there seems to be way too much talk about it for SOMETHING to have not been done... JMHO
I'm sorry, but it's an urban legend until I see proof. Go back and click the link on my previous post, because I had heard the same thing in Oklahoma too. It turned out to be just an urban legend.
I don't think the guy was intentionally lying, he was just a victim of an old urban legend that has been spread around since the dawn of time.
