I have done all the scnet free things you can do and walked a short distance behind my house and still got busted by a deer. We will still give off a human oder no matter what we do. All we can do is keep as clean as we can to keep foreign and bacterial oder down to a minimum.
After all your scent free things you should have sprayed some acorn scented stuff on you. Or got a wafer to pin to your hat.
I guess you got this deer hunting thing worked out.....How long you been hunting? I've been deer hunting close to 30 years. Believe it or not I've seen and learned a few things along the way. I try to pass on a tip or two when I can but some guys already know it all so I guess I'm just wasting your time and mine. Good luck to you.
