I' m not a big fan of polymers, but I' m one that tends to not be a fan of " black guns" or " plastic" guns, blued steel/stainless steel tickle my fancy, but you made a great choice, just having the 22/45 will make a transition to it' s big brother p-series when the time and money are right.
Ok i am scratching my head here . those plastic ,polymer, black guns can be had in the blued /stainless flavors. are you trying to say you like blued /stainless guns with traditional wood type stocks??
and while i own a 22/45 and encouraged tealboy to buy one i probably wouldnt compare it to a p series ruger. maybe a 1911 , the gun it is supposed to replicate the grip of.
i only encourage those i don' t like to buy a p series ruger. unless a friend needed a expensive trotline weight.
