I am thinking of getting a new defense handgun.
99% of the time it will stay in my house unless i am target shooting.
I want it for home defense but if i go to KY i would carry it.
I do not plan to carry it CC here because in Indiana you must have a permit and i do not feel i really need to go throw all that.

I was thinking of a beretta or a glock. maybe a S&W. i am open to a good brand.

I would like to stay around 500 or less.
Also i have always said i will always carry 9mm.
But i figure if i am going to drop 500 bucks on a handgun i should be open to a 45.
I would prefer to stay with something like a 9mm or 45. so the ammo is not hard to get or costly.

So would you recommend a 45 or 9mm
Alsoi want a semi auto the high the factory mag cap. the better.

I am a big guy and a big gundoes not bother me. i hada double stack ruger p89 everyone said they were two big i loved the gun.
