Maybe I'm naive, but that's what the lady told me. he companies made the decision for me.When I was through asking Winchester, Browning, Ruger and Savage if the were builkding 300 WSM in left-handed rifles, Savage was the only one who responded affirmatively. I thought about waiting a couple of months to see if Browning had changed its mind, but after reading about Savages on this board, I thought the Savage would be an economical way for me to learn if I liked the caliber (and if I really want to use a left-handed bolt.) I may love the Savage and hold. I may decide I like the caliber and/or the left handed bolt, but decide I want the smoother action of a Browning and trade up when it offers what I want. For now, I'm awfully excited about the Savage!
