My guess is he's going to shoot a heavier BH than he's been shooting FP's.
I m shooting 5575 Gold Tips right out of the box. Many shooting buddies say I am on the borderline for not enough arrow. I havent had any problems yet, but putting a 100 grainbh on it I want to go up to the 7595s. This is where my question is. On the range I am very god at grouping shots out to 45 yrds with the 5575's. I will be going to Gander Mountain to get my new Gold Tips, which are a step up from what im shooting.
With a BH on my 5575's they are not accurate beyond20 yrds without tuning and adjusting sites. Once I have my hunting rig set up and dialed in, I guess practicing with the 5575s at 20 yrds will be my max, since i will be changing (resetting) my sites for the new arrows with bh's. The 5575's are 8.6 gr/in and the 7595 are 10.2 gr/in. Is this much of a weight difference?
I know its hard to describe, but with a heavier arrow and 100 grain BH I am anticipating a large difference with my sites. So my practicing is done until I set up with new arrows and BH
