No My tikka has a 10 powered weaver target scope fitted,I use it for metalic silhouette--Rams at 500 meters are a 51 inch drop but using the target turrets I work out the number of clicks & make the adjustments then you just pull the trigger when the cross hairs are on the ram,It works.

I wouldn' t consider it good for game at 500 yards either but it will knock over rams at 500 meters,It would be good for deer out to 300 yards or so though.

I' m hoping to hunt pigs or red deer with it soon.
