I had a Chief Petty Officer tell me a loooooong time ago that in confrontational situations, you need to have tact. Then he told me having tact is being able to tell someone to go to hell, and have them looking forward to the trip. I've always tried to remember that and use it when dealing with less than honest people.
Depends on the situation, and the people involved. Sometimes a foot in the *** is required leadership. Your property. Not theirs. Not everybody likes confrontation, but some folks will just push it. Until you push back. HARD! Good luck partner. Sucks that you have to have idiots for neighbors. Went through this crap last year on my property. I won't this year. That's all I'll say about that
