MOOSE MILK
A general purpose black powder solvent and liquid patch lube. Shake well before using
Castor Oil 4 oz.
Murphy's Oil Soap 1 oz.
Witch Hazel 4 oz.
Isopropyl Alcohol (91%) 8 oz.
Water (non-chlorinated) 16 oz.
the
new lube I made was 6 ounces of liquid castor oil, 1-1/2 ounces of bees wax, 1/2 ounce of liquid Alox, and 1 ounce of Murphy's oil soap. It makes a peanut butter consistancy lube. I just wanted to see how it would work on a patch. It works all right, but I like my moose milk much better. I do want to try a different rifle tomorrow that shoots maxiball and see if my peanut butter lube will work well on that..
