X2 -- People get all wrapped up in this gun or that gun rather than addressing the most important item:
"How does it fit your unique body frame?"
Funny thing though, I think many folks don't know good fit when they see it or know how to get it if the rifle they really want don't have it; while one can't always make a rifle fit, if the drop is correct then the length is easily adjusted and that's 80% of the battle.
A "no neck" lineman and a "pencil neck" string bean will gravitate to very different stock patterns.... that is,if they know what they are looking for, part of good riflemanship.
Give me a rifle of proper weightthat fits me well andhas a robust cartridge and most the other issues are two thirds whipped.... including recoil.
