String wax is very important to the life of your string. I always keep an eye on the condition of my string. You can see when it needs a waxing. You'll see tiny little string fibers sticking out from the main string. Ipush on the wax dispenser until some wax is sticking out. Run this up and down the string on 2-3 sides. Then I take my thumb and index finger, squeeze the string, and run them back and forth quickly, creatingenough heat to make the wax get soft , andwork it's way into the string fibers. Works great.
