pokey, it' s not a hunt club or anything. I own a motel here in the forest, and it has kind of just grown into an annual event.

We hunt the National forest, But we tend to hunt pretty deep into it off the service roads, so it' s a rare occasion that I see someone else...The exception to that being on an occasional saturday " doe" day. I tend to not hunt the weekends anyway, because of that very reason.

It takes about five hours to get here from the beach, six if the traffic is bad or you get hung up behind a logging truck.

Typically, we might hunt monday through thursday, then drink a lot of beer on friday.

I have a few cleaning stations out back, so it' s not a big deal to skin and quarter whatever you kill, then either freeze it, or soak it for a day or two. either way, your meat won' t go bad.

There is nothing formal about it, in fact, it seems to be a constant rotation of faces due to ships movement ect. It' s just some guys getting together to tell lies and shoot wild animals.
