Default RE: String loop , release...longer arrows??

ORIGINAL: Chuck7

I use a string loop and release..I notice now my arrowhead is barely out front of my rest..I'm already shooting a 31 " arrow..I'm not even sure if they carry any longer ones..

Question..
When adding a release and string loop should one buy longer arrows?
Most full length arrows are 32" I thought, but the loop won't make any difference, and really if you adjust the draw-length to adding a loop, you could actually shorten the arrow. As long as the arrow has clearance, it shouldn't be a problem really unless you're shooting some of the wild turkey BH's that need greater clearance. If you'd like to gain more clearance, you could cut your DL 1/2 and use a little longer loop, and it will essentially give you a little more arrow past the rest, without having to buy arrows.
