A quick tip for thos who already have established clover plots. Try broadcasting 100 lbs/acre 0-0-60 (potash - K) over the plot. The clover really likes this boost, and its very cheap ( like $7.00/100 lbs bought in bulk). Even if you have K availablie in the soil, the clover still responds well, sometimes I mix in some MAP ( Phosphorus mix) for spring dressing, as the soil we have is low in P.

Do it now, and mow as soon as weeds flower, even if the clover isn' t high enough to mow.
