I would like to give you one piece of advice.If at all possible,you need to try and shoot with both eyes open.This will help in those low light conditions with a peep.This will also give you a much better sigh picture.Especially on a live animal in the woods.The difference is unbelievable.If your shooting right handed and right eye dominant,then it shouldn' t be that hard to get adjusted.
If your not using your dominant eye to sight with,then you might have hard time doing this.
