I hear alot of " You can see more of the target with vertical pins"

I disagree. You do see more of the target yes, but it' s not the important part you are trying to actually hit. Vertical pins form a straight line that blocks out all of the area you are actually trying to hit. Sure, left and right of the pins are clear, but who cares! You aren' t trying to hit an animal in the head or rear. You are trying to hit the kill zone. Who cares what is being blocked out by the pins on a horizontal pin sight. You aren' t missing anything you are trying to hit anyway.
