Depends on if I'm leaving anyhing behind. Or sometimes I want to spook deer to see how they escape. With that info the next season works out well.

Typically I don't scout the same way I hunt. I don't want to edgucate the game. Seems like they have good memories. When I return it's in a whole different mode.

Your trying to find deer when scouting, if ya don't spook them you might never know they're there.
