RE: Heavy 30-06 loads
Crew you will need to check your rifles twist rate. Most 06 rifles have 1 in 10. For a 250 grain bullet to stabilize in a 06, with a 1 in 10 twist rate, and 2,200 FPS velocity is not very likely. I am not familiar with that bullet but I would check to see if they will recommend a minimum twist rate. To have any chance of working it would have to a shorter round nose design with a flat back and a very dense material like lead or heavier.
