The 25 ACP is an excellent alternative to the 209 BP. You should find it is a lot cleaner than the 209 also.

I really do not know enough yet to declare that the 25 ACP with a small rifle magnum primer will ignite BH every time in every condition but todays experiance leads me to believe it will - so if you are into shooting BH it should work for you also...

Mid 30/40's - that is really warm - we do the 0 /-10 quite often here... been in the woods @ -20 several times - that temp really allows you to see your breath or even more thrilling when it is that cold and you get to see a bull bugle... he really put out a lot smog...
