I don't think that is going to work, but I would have to research it. If the night vision has any sort of magnification to it I don't think it will work either in the front or the back. Doubling up optics normally doesn't work out all that well.

12mm of eye relief![]. .223 guns normally don't have much recoil to speak of, but that is cutting it pretty close. Most scopes have between 2 and 3 inches of eye relief. How are you going to mount this contraption? I would really like to see a picture of what you intend on doing.
