about 90% sure PA used to be one deer a year....if you filled your buck tag you were not allowed to take a doe....

that was before my time...maybe one of the older PA guys can clarify...im pretty sure thats how it went though...
That's correct. When I started deer hunting in Pa back in the early '70s, you were able to kill ONE DEER. Even if you killed adoe during the earlier archery season you were done deer hunting for season. Period.
