I'll argue the shot was legal, and lethal.....just not very "ethical" (IMO).
You hunt legally and ethically....and I'll congratulate you and take your kill photos. I'd argue "quartering-to" shots (if you saw this one you know) like the one he took offfer ONE outcome.

Jim....you can try and stir the pot all you want. I've held to my position that I'll defend any man's hunting....as long as he's doing so legally AND ethically.
Are you for real. You say its legal and LETHAL but not ethical. Ummm I don't understand. What is ethical then. I understand that everyone wants a clean kill but if its lethal and he recovered it without spoiling anything then I say it was a sucessful hunt. One question? Are you that great of a hunter to say you have never made an unethical shot in your life?
