Default New to archery, help me start please

Hi, I searched through this whole part of forum and have not satisfied my needs for some answers.
I am totally new to archery. I was interested in it from when I was a kid and like probably most of you made some silly bows, but now I decided to try something real. Searching the internet I found many bow manufacturers and I`m much more interested in traditional recursive bows than in compound bows, maybe that will change in the future but for now this is the case.
As I said, I am total beginner. I now nothing about pro bows and understand little to non of their technical specifications and archery related words and phrases, so I warned you that when you answer me, explain also some words that are new to a non introduced guy.
So, I want to primary practice archery at home in my back yard that is long for about 50m, but if I need more length that is not the problem also. Because of my little understanding of the archery, I cant choose a bow. I searched through the internet and web sites of many manufacturers and found Martin Hunter bow and some Bear traditional bows interesting to me, but if they are not suitable for beginners and my needs than I wont buy them. Recommend me some bows and say why you propose them. Also is it good to buy more expensive bow in the beginning, like that Martin Hunter or Bear Elite Takedown, knowing that I wont use 10% of their capabilities in the beginning, but in the future will, so I would not need to buy a new bow soon. I am 21 years old and I`m strong. Just to add that I am from Serbia and I cant try the bows because two reasons, there are not one archery shop here, and if there would to be one, I am new to archery and would not reckognise which bow is better. I would need to order the bow over the internet or buy it in some neighbour country.
I said that I would use the bow to practice archery on targets in my back yard, but if I deicide to go hunting some time in the future maybe, give me advice related to that, considering the bow that I would buy. In my region, there are wild boars, some small deers, rabbits, birds and jackals. Also, is there any good contests in archery with traditional bows? And is there any proposition on wich bows could be used in that contests?
Also when I buy bow, which arrows are best to use, and how can I deicide among the long list of different arrows? And do I need to by them after I get the bow, to see how long/far I can pull the string so I dont by short arrows or something like that? Is there anything other accessories needed to start practice archery?
Any advice would be very helpfull! And yes, I have some question that bothers me, I could not find it on the internet except on one web adress. What is the distance in yards that some good traditional bow can fire at nowdays? That site states that they should fire arrows at about few hundred meters, and that the record is more than 1000 yards?! That is very very large distance if you ask me
So i would stop with questions for now, I think I covered the most basic parts, if I`m wrong correct me.
And thanks in advance to everyone who help me.
