well i was not thinking equipment to me stuff like tractors and 4 wheelers is just extra stuff to help. but it can get costly

not sure how it takes 1000s to plant plots all you need to do is find a local farmer to till the land for you then plant it.
now some places need lime and fet. which does cost but not sure how you could spend thousands on food plot
New tractor $19,000. disc $350. cultipacker $300. used 4 wheeler with seeder and sprayer $4000.New building to keep it all in $25,000. Seed and fertilizer $$$$. 4 acres of foodplots=priceless.

Because waiting on the local farmers can be very frustrating, been there and done that.
