I was doing some looking and reading. I saw that the Hawk bullet company makes a 250gr. 30 cal. bullet. I found load data for a 250gr original Barnes 30-06 load that would do around 2200fps or slightly better. My question is, has any one used the Hawk or any other 250gr bullet in the 30-06 and where did they get their load info? I'm just curious what my rifle can do with this load. By the way, on the Hawk web page. They have a referance to an article in Feald&Stream by Dave Petzle. He is talking about using these bullets in the 30-06. But it only gives a blurb and i cant find the story. Any ideas there?
