Sorry to be such a pain in the ass... but the closing date should be revised to MARCH 15th as it was last season. If you waituntilAprilwe'll have a handful of problems including dens full of starving coyote pups and most of the contestants (myself included) will no longer be visiting this site on a regular basis.
Most recreational hunters stop calling inJanuary/February as fur quality declines not to mention thatnearly ALL Midwestern and Eastern states have seasons that close within that timeframe.
Here's the basic layout we've used in the past... take this and run with it...

All animals scored must be called and shot. No bait, no traps, no hounds!
Contestants must provide photos of the animal with their weapon in order to be scored.
Scoring:
Coon -10
Coyotes - 50
Bobcat - 50
Fox - 50
Wolves -200
Mt Lion - 250
Bear- 250
