Yeah one of the guys involved was a police officer and was fired from his job for pulling this hoax. Serves him right too. Theyre saying it was fraud since they were trying to make a financial gain from it. Word has it they accepted 50K for something connected to the hoax. I heard all this on the radio this a.m. So Im not sure if this is even true.
