The Matrix was "souped up" for 2008, addressing the complaints with the pins, gap shooting, and blending into one pin in low light with the addition of the TIC ViPins. Each pins is flared slightly at the tip, allowing you to differentiate between the pins...I tested it in all conditions this spring from the Double Bull, with no sight light, and never was there an instant that I couldnt differentiate between pins. Simple yet effective fix.

Also - the eralier Matrix sights, those with the wingnut bolts; they had a tendancy to loosen. That design has been replaced, making the Guide Series Matrix the standard issue now.
