Coffee and Copenhagen works for me until I get down off the stand. I don't like my stomach making racket with I'm hunting. I learned that from my dad who was an Olympic shooter. He didn't eat before a shoot due to the muscles in your stomach contracting andprocessingthe food, causing too much movement (not pun intended).
I've been doing it since I started bow hunting bout 1965.
sit back and listen to your stomach 30 minutes after you have eaten, It may be just my quirk, but it's worked for me all this time.
