Default Staying Warm Tip From a Thin Blooded Duck Hunter

I'm not big on spin off threads, but the "breakfast" thread made me think of a good point I thought I would share with everyone... granted its 91 degrees outside here in Central VA at 8pm... but give it a try this winter.

A few older guys (80+) I duck hunt with have given up on thermoses of coffee for keeping warm on miserable days in the blind (if there is such a thing as a miserable duck day). They carry instead heated thermoses of BEEF BROTH (Swanson or Campbells). The thought of which almost made me gag until I tried it myself. Honestly, there is something about beef bullion that warms you right through your bones, and it actually has nutritional value and doesn't make you pee a whole lot (which is helpful when you have 3 layers on under waders and are in waste deep water... or 20 feet up a tree).

It even got Rebecca's seal of approval, and that poor girl is always freezing cold. Give it a try, I'm a convert!
