sure do, I was ML hunting...maybe my third day on stand of my entire life....a decent 100 inch 8 point comes up onto the ridge top I was hunting and feeds not 25 yards away....as I was squeezing the trigger dad whispered dont shoot theres a monster....i look over, and big ole freak daddy comes up over the ridge looking like an elk. huge perfect 10 with 2 gobblers ******ing him on each side. a picture perfect sight. I still remember every detail of that 5 minutes. My knees were knocking so hard from shaking that the double man ladder stand was shaking...long story short, I blew it. didnt get the shot off and the deer spooked. He had to of been a 160 class deer. very wide, massive, with extremely tall tines....he had it all. The memory of seeing that deer and the feeling I got keeps me hunting every morning I head out. Like you said, it changes you. Ive seen several since then, most by chance as I never really pulled strategy into my hunting until late last year. but each one is an amazing experience.
