My only questions are.......when this thing goes off.....where is the scent going?
Where are you NOT wanting deer to come in from?
I can't think of anywhere i don't want them to come in from as long as they make it infront of my stand but i can say that some ways are better than others like up wind as oppose to downwind where the scent goes.
