I have had the luxury of living in some states wheremost ofmy evenings from the end of July to opening day of bowseason were spent watching fence rows, bean, corn or alfalfa fields, and would pretty much know what the area held befor season came in, yet ever now and then a big one would pop up I had never seen befor.
Where I live now is a differnt story. Mostly jack pines and scattered hardwoods for hundereds of miles. Dont have the luxury of knowing the deer by name any more, you hunt good buck sign. All 3 of the big deer I have taged here, I never seen befor I started hunting them, just hunting good buck sign.
