Not to shoot my bow in my backyard. Okay, I am a really good shot, but an arrow got away from me and went throughmy neighbors woodenfence with a G5 broadhead.[:@][:-]
It really shook me up, because if someone had been in that yard it could have killed them. I have never had this happen until tonight and I've been shooting forever. However, I will never risk that again. I'm only shooting in an open field behind my house from now on. I just can't get over it!!!

We've all made mistakes, be thankful that nothing incredibly bad happenend. You learned a lesson and were humbled. You are obviously beating yourself up, and posted here knowing that the possible flames you may recieve, could not make you feel worse. I take my hat off to you, for your sincerity and humility.
Thanks bud!!

I am embarrassed about it, but if others could learn from this then it isnecessary. I'm still in shocksince I have been shooting for years andnothing like this has ever happened. Guys, Iknow you may not think you'll ever miss your target that bad, but pleasesetup abig solid backstop.Once again, I'mjust reallyrattled and very thankful that nothing bad happened.
